Peanut Butter Fat Bombs

I’ve never liked the taste of traditional Peanut Butter Fat Bombs, so I made my own version of them which taste way better. You don’t feel like you’re hauling down a whole bunch of coconut oil, and they are super easy to make.

Fat bombs are a delicious way to increase the healthy fats in your diet, especially when following a ketogenic diet, and can be a really useful way to get an extra bit of energy, or snack on something healthy.

Keto Friendly Peanut Butter

To make these, you’ll need to find a keto friendly peanut butter. There is only one rule when it comes to buying peanut butter, and its this:

Does it contain anything other than peanuts and salt?

If not, look for a 100% natural peanut butter.

There are plenty of peanut butter brands that are available here in Coles and Woolworths (Australia)  that don’t contain sugar, just make sure you read the labels.

Keto Energy Balls Recipe

These keto energy balls are a delicious treat and don’t become a messy heap of melted oil if left out of the fridge for too long. This is why I coat them in desiccated coconut and incorporate a little heavy cream into the mixture. It gives it more body and alleviates some of the sticky taste of peanut butter.

If you’re a big fan of peanut butter, then you’ll probably also love my keto peanut butter cups recipe, which is coated in chocolate with a salty peanut butter inside. Its so delicious, and your friends won’t even know its keto!

You could substitute the heavy cream for cream cheese in these keto energy balls, making a delicious low carb peanut butter balls with cream cheese style recipe. They might even taste better, who knows!

I hope you enjoy this recipe, until next time!

Deliciousness! I made these using coconut flour and swerve (brown sugar) and I left off the coconuts. Instead, I rolled mine in a bit of cinnamon and cayanne mixed together. So good!! I can’t wait until they’re chilled. Thank you for sharing this recipe. ?

Hi , First I want to thank you for including the metric measurements, One small tweak though, no body in the metric world uses ml for dry weights,[ flour etc] it is always grams thanks. can’t wait to try the peanut butter bombs.
