Keto Berry Salad is delicious, low carb and just sweet enough to make it taste amazing once your taste buds adjust to the low sugar lifestyle. This mix of strawberries, goats cheese and walnuts is an outstanding combination of creamy, nutty goodness that is a wonderful salad suitable for the ketogenic diet.
We’ve always made salads in our household, whether its a simple lettuce, tomato and dressing combination or a comprehensive mix of delicious ingredients straight from the fridge.
I always remember one of my brother’s friends coming around, who hadn’t experienced such a vast array of ingredients in salads, who commented on the fact that we made “comprehensive salads”. It was both a hilarious, but truthful way to portray the types of salads we would make.
Generally, we never added cheese to the salad. Maybe sometimes there might have been feta cheese, but generally, we kept it naturally dairy free.
If you’ve never had goats cheese, you can easily get it from Aldi here in Australia for a very reasonable price. Its just divine when you pair it with strawberry and walnuts, and if you feel really fancy, go crazy with some balsamic vinegar to top off the show.
