Welcome, My name is Aaron Day, and I’m crazy about health and nutrition. I’m an Accredited Nutritional Therapist and Advanced Sports Exercise Nutritional Adviser.
I’m a ketogenic food blogger, recipe developer, food photographer, and videographer, with an emphasis on Quick and Simple Keto Meals, Flexible Recipes (Suited for families) and Keto Comfort Food.
I grew up surrounded by a wealth of health knowledge, with an emphasis on food allergies, micronutrients, and natural supplements. My mother is dedicated to health being a naturopath for one of the world leading companies. She is the reason why I hold such a passion for health and wellbeing.
My early years consisted of an abundance of food, which taught me many great lessons on overconsumption and healthy eating habits. When your homeostasis is being chubby, learning about food and nutrition was one of my most important priorities.
Later, as I grew up and discovered the world of music, I lived a very frugal lifestyle which began to etch away at my thyroid and adrenal glands.
Being overworked, underslept and underpaid was a natural disaster for malnourishment through poor digestive issues.
I turned to the world of sports and fitness, and began to study, research and absorb the world of nutrition, through which I realized I had a deeply rooted passion in helping others be able to live to their full potential.
I’m the sort of person that has always set very ambitious goals and strives to achieve them in the most unique ways possible. For those who don’t know, I’m an adventure cyclist (tour cyclist), and low carb endurance runner.
From living out my dream to cycle through Europe with nothing but a tent, climbing 4,500m in one-day cycling events, through to running marathons using the unusual endurance diet of a high fat, low carb approach, I’m dedicated to pushing past what is deemed possible by common society.
Through those ambitious goals, I’ve realized that it is not the outcome that you learn the most from. It is the journey and struggles along the way which makes you become a better person.
I strongly believe that in order to achieve greatness, the boundaries pushed, and the lifestyle changes gained are what impact you the most. This then became the idea behind FatForWeightLoss.
The name “FatForWeightLoss” is a poke at what society thought was making us all fat. “Fat”. But in actual fact, using fat in your diet whether you’re following a ketogenic diet, or simply a low carb diet, is the biggest lever you can move towards making a lifestyle change towards weight loss, and more importantly, fat loss.
If you’re looking to join me in setting an ambitious goal, and in the process find a lifestyle change that enables you to live your life to the greatest potential, then you’ve come to the right place.
