90 Second Keto Bread is a super easy recipe made with simple ingredients that can literally be made in 90 SECONDS!
The combination of simple ingredients gives this keto friendly bread structure for your favorite toppings and stuffings that you can make in almost no time with only a microwave.
This microwavable keto bread is perfect for lunchtime when work is busy, or even for breakfast to put a few fried eggs on.
These pieces of 90 second keto bread actually make great English muffins as well, or the perfect toast to make some delicious eggs benedict.
Spread your favorite toppings on the bread, or toast it for a delicious crunch.
Almond flour is super healthy, and often considered one of the healthiest nut flours in the world.
Melted butter, peanut butter, almond butter and Vegemite (Aussie tradition) are all great spreads to put on keto bread.
Can I Make 90 second keto bread With Coconut Flour?
You can most certainly make this recipe using only coconut flour (or sesame flour, if allergic to nuts and coconut as well).
Simply use:
- 3 tablespoons of coconut flour
(Instead of 1/4 cup almond flour + 1 Tbsp coconut flour like the recipe suggests)
Can I make this keto bread dairy free?
This bread can be made easily with coconut oil instead of butter, which also makes it paleo friendly.
Substitute 1 tablespoon of coconut oil for 1 tablespoon of butter.
You can also try olive oil, which makes a delicious substitute as well.
Does this keto bread taste eggy?
This bread is the least eggy keto bread of all, simply because the egg is cooked thoroughly from the outside in by using a microwave, instead of an ordinary oven.
Best of all, you can just make enough to taste test, to see if this recipe is right for you, instead of making a whole loaf of keto bread, and finding out later.
Can I make keto bread in the oven?
You can make this in the oven, instead of the microwave, simply by:
- Using an oven-safe mug/ramekin
- Setting your oven to 180C (355F) and cooking for 15 minutes.
I do recommend you toast this bread, only because it tastes better this way. This is up to you, but I always find it better.
Don’t hesitate to try this bread! It’s similar to a wholemeal slice that is in whatever shape your nearest container is in.

Marvelous recipe. I make it in the office kitchenette, and pop it in the toaster. I’ve used it for chicken salad sandwiches and BLTs. My favorite way is simply toasted with butter and a mug of tea.

Also – what is the texture of the mixture like? I tried it last time it was not quite one thing, quite crumbly. What texture looks right?

Love this 90 second keto bread recipe. I did add a pinch of salt. I also used mixture on top of fruit mixture (black berries, cranberries, blue berries) to make a fruit cobbler. Also have used for dumplings for chicken.
