90 Second Keto Bread is a super easy recipe made with simple ingredients that can literally be made in 90 SECONDS!
The combination of simple ingredients gives this keto friendly bread structure for your favorite toppings and stuffings that you can make in almost no time with only a microwave.
This microwavable keto bread is perfect for lunchtime when work is busy, or even for breakfast to put a few fried eggs on.
These pieces of 90 second keto bread actually make great English muffins as well, or the perfect toast to make some delicious eggs benedict.
Spread your favorite toppings on the bread, or toast it for a delicious crunch.
Almond flour is super healthy, and often considered one of the healthiest nut flours in the world.
Melted butter, peanut butter, almond butter and Vegemite (Aussie tradition) are all great spreads to put on keto bread.
Can I Make 90 second keto bread With Coconut Flour?
You can most certainly make this recipe using only coconut flour (or sesame flour, if allergic to nuts and coconut as well).
Simply use:
- 3 tablespoons of coconut flour
(Instead of 1/4 cup almond flour + 1 Tbsp coconut flour like the recipe suggests)
Can I make this keto bread dairy free?
This bread can be made easily with coconut oil instead of butter, which also makes it paleo friendly.
Substitute 1 tablespoon of coconut oil for 1 tablespoon of butter.
You can also try olive oil, which makes a delicious substitute as well.
Does this keto bread taste eggy?
This bread is the least eggy keto bread of all, simply because the egg is cooked thoroughly from the outside in by using a microwave, instead of an ordinary oven.
Best of all, you can just make enough to taste test, to see if this recipe is right for you, instead of making a whole loaf of keto bread, and finding out later.
Can I make keto bread in the oven?
You can make this in the oven, instead of the microwave, simply by:
- Using an oven-safe mug/ramekin
- Setting your oven to 180C (355F) and cooking for 15 minutes.
I do recommend you toast this bread, only because it tastes better this way. This is up to you, but I always find it better.
Don’t hesitate to try this bread! It’s similar to a wholemeal slice that is in whatever shape your nearest container is in.

I’ve just started the Keto diet and I was missing bread. Not the bread itself but the texture of it if that makes any sense. This did the trick. It’s fabulous. A great substitute. My husband tried it (not on the diet) and loved it:) I couldn’t find coconut flour today so I had to use all almond flour and it was delicious. I’ll get some coconut flour tomorrow but I can’t imagine it tasting any better. Awesome bread. Thank you, thank you, thank you.

I don’t have coconut flour so I just used almond. I used butter in the batter and greased a wide salad bowl with coconut oil. Cut it in half and had my first keto sandwich today! Thank you!!!
